Daryn is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelors degree in Zoology. She comes to us with a diverse employment background, working with exotic animals like lions and tigers at Animal Park NC and primates at Beardsley Zoo. She has worked with farm animals and at CT Humane Society where she also deployed with ASPCA to rescue animals before transitioning into veterinary medicine. In addition to her 12 years of veterinary clinic experience and her bachelors degree, she is currently enrolled in her final semester pursuing her associates degree in Veterinary Technology with Penn Foster College.
No matter if it’s a lion, tiger, or domestic shorthair, Daryn is thrilled to have landed in a feline-only veterinary clinic. She has a german shepherd/husky mix, Stormy, and 5 of her own cats at home; Oliver, Thomas, Roly, Chance and Scooter (pictured). Scooter is a Aristokatz alumni who has severe cerebellar hypoplasia and requires specialized care for life.
